First of all you should know about “grace period.

GRACE PERIOD
It is a time duration given by government to renew the visa or leave UAE with in these days after visa cancelation.

GRACE PERIOD FOR VISIT VISA:
Grace period for visit visa is 10 days after visa is expired.

GRACE PERIOD FOR RESIDENT VISA:
Grace period for those with resident visa is 30 days.

All the people with resident or visiting visa will be considered as overstaying if they are living in UAE after grace period.The information is confirmed from GDRFAD and ICA.

To check overstay fines In UAE for visit or resident visa you need to visit ICA official website.

REQUIRMENTS:
1-Residence visa copy or file number
2-Date of birth

Step 1:
To begin you have to visit
” smartservices.ice.gov.ae, once you click on it you will be redirected to homepage now you have to click on”public services” option.

Step 2:
After clicking on “public services” click on start button to begin.

Step 3:
Once clicked on start button a form will appear on the screen.You have to enter your data that is:
•visa file number
•Date of birth

Step 4:
Under visit visa file their are 4 options or boxes to fill up
√Department number
√year in which your visa is pasted
√service
√sequence number of 7 digits
After that you have to write date of birth and then pass the captcha code.

step 5:
If you entered the correct data you will be able to see overstay fine amount under your visa in UAE with number of days you overstayed.
EXAMPLE
Number of days=552 Fineammount=32,700.00 AED

HOW MUCH OVERSTAY FINE FOR  Dubai VISIT VISA:

Overstay fine for visit visa is higher than resident visa, you will pay
•200 AED for first day
•100 AED per day after first day
•100 AED as one time service fees.

OVERSTAY FEES FOR RESIDENT VISA:

Overstaying fees for resident visa is less than visiting visa.
Charges are given below:
•125 AED for first day after 30 days grace period
•25 AED per day upto 6 months
•50 AED per day from 6 to 12 months
•100 AED after 1 year

HOW TO PAY OVERSTAY FINE IN Dubai
After cheking your overstay fine you have to know about payment process.

Select your relation with the sponsor from the drop down list and click next you can also select none once clicked on the next page, you will be asked to provid your mobile number for the OTP, provide your bank detail and submit yor request. check online 

SERVICE FEES AND REFUND POLICY:

The total fees to clear finesvis 52 AED approx including E-service fees 29.4 AED and ICA fees 22AED.In case of rejection the fees will not be refunded.

After the payment you will recieve an SMS on your mobile and email confirmation with receipt for OVERSTAY FINES you paid..
